Shopping Spree

Selah, Adden, and I got a chance to go to the Dollar Store today and buy gifts for Operation Christmas Child. Selah found gifts for a little girl her age that would fit in a shoebox (a pink bear just like her own, crayons, stickers, a coloring book, toothbrush/paste, hair bows, etc.) and Adden - well, Adden just sat in the cart as we piled gifts on top of him. We did buy gifts that we thought a boy (a bit older than Adden) would like though (cars, a coloring book, stickers, a football, car stamps, that paddle thing with a ball attached, a blue bear, and toiletries also.) It was tons of fun and and I pray that our kids would grow up to have a heart like their daddy's when it comes to giving and meeting needs around the world.

Please check out the Samaritan's Purse website. for more information about this project. There are collection sites all across the US from November 12-19.
