Handcrafting Cards

I've got Valentine's Day on the mind.

And with it... encouragement cards, time with my honey, chocolatey recipes, and crafts with the kiddos.

Yay.

Here are some of my recent cards that I made in RI with my mom. (Not necessarily Valentiney, but oh well.) I ADORE handcrafting stuff in her studio - endless supplies, creativity, organic blackberry tea, and late night talks. The best.

Anyway, instead of hitting Hallmark for Valentine's Day, maybe consider making your own cards or supporting a local artist. My mom's neighbor (and our friend) is a fabulous designer who has been featured in numerous card/scrapbooking magazines. Check out some great card designs here.
